With a guided tour around some of the National Gallery’s most dazzling works, allow your guide, resident LDG Art History Tutor Luisa Maria MacCormack to unravel the hidden stories of the roles, trials and tribulations of women throughout the history of painting. Expect insight, in-situ discussions and talks concerning the stories behind the stares as well as the afternoon’s series of tailored drawing exercises and techniques that aim to explore the power of the gaze.
